this photograph is just so intriguing to me.. and of course you're all aware of my love for the beatles. this was taken just moments before the famous abbey road album cover shot. i bet they had no earthly idea how iconic this would be. notice paul has flip flops on.. i wonder when the decision to go barefoot was made? did they ever dream of the speculation that would come from that simple little detail?
oh! and a little trivia for you: did you know that it only took ten minutes and six photographs to capture the shot? crazy.. especially by today's standards!

ahh that is such a great pic! I love the behind-the-scenes stuff. I'm sure they had no idea what the cover would do...such a simple concept

Here's what I noticed with this photo - it could have been taken today. Somewhere in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood, there are 4 hipster dudes getting ready to cross the street that have no idea they look just like the Beatles. (Or they probably do but pretend that they don't). Ha.
